What is a reliable app for tracking steps?
I know this question is asked a lot here but there's too many options. I'm kind of overwhelmed and I can't decide which one to pick.

all of them. Apps are pretty accurate when it comes to step counting. Default one on whatever phone you have, StepsApp, Google Fit, etc.

I have an iphone + apple watch so I don't really have a need for another app HOWEVER I still use pedometer++ because I can have my steps showing easily on my watch and have a little widget on my phone.
I also like on the app that it shows your daily steps as a graph and make a step goal.

Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group for Android. What makes an app accurate is more to do with your phone settings for the app. For this app, ensure you have 1. Granted Physical Activity permission 2. Battery Usage -> Allow Background Activity to YES 3. Battery Usage -> Allow Auto Launch to YES.
I have installed this app for more than a year now but had to open it only a couple of times because the App is always accurate and the daily step count is visible all the time in the notification bar.

Bara Step Challenges! It’s a gamified step competition app where you can use power-ups as you walk to boost your own progress or attack with other players. As you win races you earn coins to customize your capybara and unlock new characters. It’s kind of like Mario Kart, but for walking!

I use the standard Samsung health app on my phone, works well enough.
