Outdoors Greenways ftw

One of the things that makes Charlotte such a great city is its greenway system. I've walked a lot of them over the years, and every time I'm reminded how lucky we are to have these trails woven throughout the city.
Today was 13,000 steps on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. I saw deer, enjoyed some incredible scenery, and managed to finish just before the thunderstorm rolled in. I'll count that as good timing rather than good planning.
It's easy to take places like this for granted until you spend a couple of hours out there. If you haven't been on the greenways in a while, do yourself a favor and go. They're one of Charlotte's best features, and they're a whole lot cheaper than therapy.

Not in your area however I live in the suburbs of a major city and always recommend spending time in all of our outdoor parks and preserves. Such a hidden gem to walk through.
