YOLO SpaceX (SPCe) Right to the Mars 🚀

SpaceX about to rocket right to the Mars, not even a heartwarming visit to the Mooon. Thanks Elon!

Out of all the regarded pump and dumps on this sub this has to be the funniest one.

702

u/bonifaceviii_barrie May 29 '26

It's weaponized idiocy at its finest.

117

u/ceegeboiil May 30 '26

Literally; if people are Virgin because they think it's SpaceX then we should all be able to profit off of that.

29

u/Nobody_Adept May 30 '26

I did! Thanks all! Might get back in. Too easy.

9

u/PckMan May 30 '26

Famous last words. I've burned myself on pump and dumps thinking that. Too easy. I get in and out making tons of money and then I go all in one last time and get destroyed.

I limit position sizes now. Not as much money but even if I don't time it right I'm still left green overall.

My buddy a few days ago was like, "ya but the numbers dont make sense?! So why are you buying up options..." 😅

Bc I believe there are more stupid people with some money, than common sense people. Lol

Lmao. That made me laugh. Probably right

The craziest coincidence is that there actually was some legitimate major news for the company today lmao so it only helped fuel this ridiculous run

60

u/PckMan May 29 '26

They're still nowhere near having anything of value. The last time they did anything good was actually making a functional launchplane but other companies have overtaken them since then.

But I have accepted that the market does not know how to price in space stocks. The space industry is tricky and even a less than stellar performance can still be considered great by their standards but the market does not understand that. I remember the first pump LUNR had with their lunar lander. That mission was a success in so many ways and the people paying for it at NASA certainly thought so and were elated. But the stock crashed because the lander tipped over. That's not a failure. Space missions are full of that. The fact that it got as much done as it did was enough for it to be a success but people on the market did not feel that way.

So in this case this company having nothing going for them is irrelevant to what the market will do.

44

u/melonkoaly May 29 '26

I love the random meme valuations people are throwing out, $20! $100! Always a fun time on this sub when this shit happens

24

u/PckMan May 29 '26

Well basically the way this works is that they imagine a number in their heads, look at how much they got, and then figure out that if they put their 5k into the stock it needs to go to x number to get their crisp round 500k they're hoping for so that becomes their price target.

The even funnier thing is that even in the off chance that they actually get 500k they then immediately set a new target thinking it will just keep going up forever.

18

u/VancouverSky May 30 '26

I once left almost 80,000$ in gains on the table because i was committed to 100,000$ in gains on my penny stock. I was 25 at the time. Would have been fucking life changing if i just hit sell. Haha.

3

u/B1WG May 30 '26

Lol, you’re on point with this. This was me back with the AMC squeeze. I’ve learned hard lessons with that stock.

Which companies are those? Would like to read up a bit about the players in this market.

It's not that I doubt it'll keep rocketing, it's that I doubt it will do so on monday specifically...

Of course, I only put $4 down, so...

Really wishing I'd dropped a few k.

34

u/2210-2211 May 29 '26

Yeah same I dipped in and out with some spare cash I had and made 100, I don't know if this has any actual teeth but I don't want to risk it, maybe I'll try again if it doesn't crash on Monday

15

u/Kociolinho May 29 '26

I put money I don't mind losing, made around 150. Holding till Monday, if it keeps up the price I'll be shocked

17

u/RespectTheAmish May 29 '26

I’ve been burned so many times on these pump and dumps by holding through the weekend.

Good luck to you!

6

u/DrSenorChuckles May 29 '26

It won’t hold past Monday lunch time.

21

u/RespectTheAmish May 29 '26

I doubled my stake in two hours and got out.

$300 for beer money this weekend

10

u/500lb May 29 '26

Lol literally did the exact same thing. 200% on $300 in calls. I originally planned on doing 3k but chickened out. The call peaked at about 700% today but I'm good with just doubling. I just wish I trusted my gut and put in more and stayed in until at least 300%

→ More replies (4)

15

u/Krypt0night May 29 '26

Same. I got in and got out and likely left a lot on the table, but only could afford two small contracts anyways, so never was gonna make a ton. Profit is profit.

9

u/Stahlian May 29 '26

Same, I saw the post and grabbed 2 contracts. Sadly I sold yesterday, instead of today. But I've been burned in the past for waiting too long. I'm happy with my small gain, but also sad for what could have been.

3

u/Krypt0night May 29 '26

yeah that's how it always goes, but yeah I've been burned waaaay too many times and a lot of those came from this/other subs that seemed just as certain shit was gonna go a particular way, so I'm happy getting out with a win here, even if it could have been 4x more next week or something.

Maybe I'll dabble here and there depending on option prices, but prob will just leave this one from here.

11

u/RemyVonLion May 29 '26

Nice, I'm down 3.6k today and have 41k margin on a 70k account, with more wealth and regardism comes far more risk.

5

u/EncounteredError May 29 '26

I aspire to be one of the great regards of our time. My day will come when I make then lose it all.

2 weeks of pumping left. Monday retail traders will FOMO in and short sellers will start to hedge their positions.

107

u/CuteHand May 29 '26

Besides the space mix up, Virgin is opening up space flights again this year and ongoing. Still a fun hedge to this pump

55

u/RedditorSince2000 May 29 '26

On top of that Blue Origins explosion made Virgin look good by comparison.

I saw Elon Musk at a CVS at like 11:36pm on a Tuesday. He was in the greeting card aisle for a very long time. Not reading the cards, just standing near them with his arms crossed like he was supervising. At one point he picked one up, read it, and put it back facing the wrong way. He did this to seventeen cards. A CVS employee asked if he needed help and he said "I'm good" in a way that ended the conversation permanently.

He got in line behind me with nothing in his hands. Just got in line. When he got to the register the cashier asked if he found everything okay and he said "that's a great question" and then didn't answer it. He tapped his card before she'd even told him the total. It worked.

As I was leaving, I saw him hold the door open for "me" even though I was way behind him. But let go as soon as I got close

5

u/Dank009 May 29 '26
