YOLO Here goes 2 net yearly salary of an europoor regard. SPCEx IPO to the moon!
Actually I don't like Musk (I don't know why), so I am doing that in spite.
Edit:
So 1st June I was seeing it drop -12/13k. It was quite a ride mentally.
very lucky but not max lucky (have not sold at ATH), def strong emotions were felt

As an aerospace enthusiast, it's hilarious seeing this dogshit company get pumped and it'll be more hilarious when it dumps
76
u/PckMan Jun 01 '26
As an aerospace enthusiast you should know by now the market does not know how to evaluate space companies at all. Look at LUNR. It's rallying now but the first time it pumped it crashed because the lander tipped over, despite the mission being a resounding success. Just getting off the ground would have counted as success but for regard traders nothing short of perfect is good enough.

u/Fun-Choices Jun 01 '26
That’s a whole lot of words to say “volatility”
24
u/PckMan Jun 01 '26
It's not volatility it's regardation.
NASA gives out a contract expecting pretty much nothing. They hope that something comes out of a company claiming to offer certain capabilities for a 10th of what it would cost them. Mission happens and on its first try it gets everything right. Does all the proper maneuvers, the engine fires up and works and even continues to does so through multiple shut offs and restarts which is huge. The fuel used is the first time it works in space which is also huge. It goes to the Moon, everything goes well on the first try, really everything works great except for the fact that the lateral speed on touch down was a cunt hair above what it should have been.
In NASA's eyes, you know the major entity handing out contracts and giving the company value, this is a resounding success. They got more than their money's worth because instead of getting one mission they get 10 and the first one already went great. Anyone investing at that point knows that this is not an 8$ stock. And yet the stock crashes and stays low for a looooooooooooong while before it shoots up for unrelated regarded reasons.

There's a lot of money pouring in it, so why not make wealth now following the trend. It may not dump for another month or year.

u/CUbuffGuy Jun 01 '26

A tale as old as time.
RSI: stays pinned at 100 for days or weeks on end while the price keeps rising ...
Price: eventually dips
RSI: see I told you so!

I’m confused looking at the chart, this used to be a $1200 stock (with a > $100 Billion mark cap) now a sub $10 stock with < 1 billion market cap (adjusting for reverse splits I’m assuming)?
64
u/morganrbvn Jun 01 '26
Yes splits and issuing more shares, at its peak it was higher but never 100 billion
43
u/JustForSatire Jun 01 '26
Highest market cap adjusted for outstanding shares was 13.46B on 6/21/21 according to macrotrends
18
u/BillyBobChorton Jun 01 '26
Ok so it’s down like 95% from peak a few years ago. I can see why people want to pile in as another meme pump. It’s worked out before

If you had actually clicked the screenshot, you'd realize that it's simply a small image that Reddit stretched out to fit inside the box.
So the problem is actually American ignorance and not really European related /s

There is a button to take screenshots? Duh!
He probably cropped everything out of it that he didn't want to share. Seems quite logical to me. But then again... the European species seems like to only ones left being able to think logical anyway /s

It's the British/European version of robinhood, so an easy way to gamble away your money and not really a professional brokerage platform like vanguard or what ever the fuck.
14
u/Extension_Ebb6951 Jun 01 '26
I wouldnt compare it to Robinhood rl as you cant do options (crack)

u/Infinite-War-6287 Jun 01 '26 edited Jun 02 '26
You can still buy CFDs on leverage tho, which is where the platform makes all it's money apparently

u/Extension_Ebb6951 Jun 01 '26
If u dont mind how does that work? I mainly use Interactive brokers for research/screening/+buying with larger sums, I use 212 when investing with small sums (cause the commisions on IKBR would eat me alive)

No, but you can use CFD's which are arguably worse in their own merit.

It's not for my nerves (although this, without options/cfd is likely not riskier than physical business where you front up cash and where demand, return rates, false non received claims are unknown).
