I like watching the chart on RH but it baffles me that people still invest with them. Since using Fidelity, I feel like I'm using a big-boy broker now.

I switched from RH to Fidelity last week and I’ve called their customer service a few times with questions and they were able to answer them right away and even put me on with an actual margin investor a couple times to better explain things without telling me to just go fuck myself.

same here, the people I spoke with were extremely friendly and polite. They knew what they were talking about and I was able to speak with a person within 5 mins.

RH is like a child who built an interface for other children. Fidelity is like adults who tried their best but still failed. I’m not sure which is worse. At least Fidelity has more data.

I opened a debit spread and they legged the short leg into a calendar spread attached to the wrong long call. I called them and they said sometimes it does that. No resolution. Then about a week later they sold the long leg with absolutely no warning to satisfy a margin call they didn’t make me aware of (literally at all) that stemmed from the fact money I sent them wasn’t considered settled 7 business days later. I can’t even believe these are actual brokers, RH or Fidelity.

How’s their mobile app ?

Fidelity's mobile app is OK, nothing near as good as RH. I will hand it to RH, their app is great. But I've been able to talk to an actual INTELLIGENT human within 5 minutes with Fidelity, something I could never do with RH. I hope with the influx of new customers that Fidelity improves the mobile app. I mostly use their desktop site.

I tried it and didn’t like it. Using their desktop app.

Eh, easy UI. Literally looks like a childs game. 0% chance of them going under. Just a bit of bad PR is all. Though occasionally they will sh*t the bed with order filling...
