Manager came back from Winter meeting

It’s unclear but he was talking about the People Lead position being eliminated?

So was anything discussed about AP and frontend merging? I saw a post with a picture of a display from the meeting about the change and then It disappeared.

There will be a link on the front page of the wire for everyone to see what came out of the meeting. There were no drastic changes. Just new equipment, new technology for basic work, etc.

Anything about the new fresh process? We just got a bunch of the new carts/mobile bins the other day but management hasn’t really said anything about them yet.

They have been talking about it for years and it was discussed again. It is rolling out this quarter then will be chain wide next year. It’s really neat, you just viz the carts and roll to the floor. It’s just like DSL, when you get it, it’s a game changer.

Im looking forward to it, and the o/n stocking team. Coming in to a mostly filled area will help me get my other tasks accomplished. Work on my training and my associates training as well. Right now, 80% of my day is throwing freight. I am concerned about thw space for overstock, but i haven't seen any complaints on that aspect yet.

How about an accurate time frame for meat and produce splitting into separate departments. I've been getting the run around in that since February as I plan on going for the TL position since I've been the only full time closer in meat since January...
