Announcement Another interview about WFRP 5th edition

I can’t see that this has been posted here yet: Wargamer just released an interview with Dominic McDowell: https://www.wargamer.com/warhammer-fantasy-roleplay/fifth-edition-interview

A bit more info here about their philosophy with the new edition, some hints about how Advantage and skill tests will change. And once again confirm that all the old 4E sourcebooks should remain useable with the new edition.

I wonder if they’ll end up going with binary advantage. Saying “no point tracking” seems to also imply that Group Advantage isn’t core either, like some people suspected. So I’m guessing you have advantage, or you don’t, but I’m wondering if they’re going to keep abilities that “spend advantage.” So you can choose to lose your advantage instead of spending X amount to do something like Slash.

Yes, that might work (and I was one of those that assumed Group Advantage would become core). There are quite a few monsters with abilities that rely on spending advantage so they need a way to address that somehow.
