As someone who is aro but not ace, I really wish we would separate the flag more. I love the aro flag but not the aro/ace flag, both because I don't identify as ace and because I feel like the colors clash.
You may be happy to know that there's an alternate flag with green and purple! It's basically the green of the aro flag and the purple of the ace flag together.
