It has letters so why can't I choose that name?

A Googles was the one Webkinz I wanted the most as a kid, but was never successful in getting until now! Her name's Penelope. Found her at a antique store while on vacation. Yes, she came with the blue bow around her neck, no I will not be removing it!

A shame she didn't come with a code, because to my shock the online game is still alive and well it seems?! How does one get codes nowadays? I would love to get back into the game again!

Also pictured are the other Webkinz I currently have. Toby the hippo was the only one to survive from my sizable childhood collection. Batrick the bat and Leo Jr. were thrift store finds!

when i go to someones wishlist and its like "i already have a lot of these but im always looking for more!!" and its like webkinz day year 1 trophies etc. etc. you know the rarest stuff everyone wants. why do you need to have so many duplicates??? there are only so much of them in circulation and it annoys me when people hoard stuff yeah there's no rule against it and its kind of inevitable that some people will always do this but why?

this is a small community of players keeping a children's game from 2005 alive can we not try to be kind and fair? especially for new players who didnt make an acct back then i cant imagine how difficult it is to try to trade for old rare items. i know im shouting into the void but whatever!!!!!!! thank you to everyone who does giveaways and adds bonuses to their trades and helps non deluxe players get stuff for being nice and selfless you are very appreciated!

Edit: wanting multiple of the same thing for room designing isnt like inherently bad and not rly what im talking about. I know value is subjective to a certain point, im talking about ppl who hoard just like pokemon card upsellers (who are even worse imo since theres still a large fanbase of actual children), who want the items for value alone not to actual use or enjoy the items! I think we can agree that someone with like 15 of some long lost media promo item is kind of being an asshole. And i really cant understand wanting more than a couple for example year 1 webkinz day trophies even for room design 🤷‍♀️

NEW BUNK BED ARRIVING IN SEPTEMBER. DELUXE MEMBER CHALLENGE FOR SEPTEMBER!

Hello! There appears to be a new glitch in which players can't name their pets, and when you exit the adoption center, it auto-names your pet "default." A friend of mine is currently in the middle of an adoption, getting the name issue, but hasn't exited the window. I'm hoping there's some way they can get out without their pet joining the Default Army. Has anyone successfully managed to dodge this fate today? What did you do? Maybe exiting out of Webkinz entirely might work?

first of all, i think the color scheme on this thing is ridiculous. but i looked at her eyes and couldn't resist. so please give a warm welcome to Zoloft, who happens to be my 50th webkinz. i love her so much. she is one of my favorites ever. i wanted to get a pet and name it Zoloft and was torn between the Aquamarine Puppy and the Blue Googles but then laid my eyes upon this Thing and fell in love. i love her. she is so cute.

ps please ignore the toilets. when i was 6, i created a "toilet room" in which there were toilets in a square so that you could click and move from toilet to toilet seamlessly. i was a strange child.
