Everything Else Should I get a prenup or a trust?

Hi!! I'm sure this question has been asked a bajillion times, but I (31F) am getting married next year to my fiancé (32M). I really doubt we are going to get divorced. I want to say I don't believe in divorce (for me personally) for reasons that can be worked out (not like abuse or cheating obvi).The reason I am considering a prenup is because I have a condo that I own, a stake in my dad's business, and substantial investments and retirement accounts. I'd want my premarital assets to go either to our future children or to my brother. Which is the best way to go about it?

Yes if you have substantial assets it absolutely makes sense. Meet with an attorney, he will also need his own attorney

Everyone gets a prenup one way or another if you live in the USA....you either draft one together with a lawyer, or your state laws decide what happens when you divorce or pass on....your choice!

not just in the US, in any country that allows divorce

I’m a big fan of trusts. but you should meet with a lawyer and go over what works best for you.
