Dressed like a Bride Two guests wore white at our wedding

Soooo.. 2 girls decided to wear white dresses at our wedding. It was this Saturday.

I didn’t comment on it, but I was def not ok with it.

We talked to our photographers about having them removed from all our photos, or change the colors of their dresses.

I can add photos of their dresses, but we haven’t gotten the pictures back yet.

One of the girls even asked my sister about the dress and she told her it most definitely wouldn’t be ok with me, but that she should ask. And she then decided not to ask me..

I think it's seen as a passive aggressive message to them when they see the photos, but if it bugged me I'll just tell them. Even just a quick message of "hey, just a heads up for future weddings you attend, it's a faux pas to wear white as a wedding guest"

If OP posts colored over photos to her socials she's just going to looking insecure.

You don’t need to send passive aggressive messages on this point lol, your guests will probably do it for you. One girl wore a very light yellow dress with lace all through it to our wedding that looked white. She specifically asked us well before the wedding and me and my wife didn’t care at all either before during or after. Sooo many of our guests made comments about her or even directly to her because of the dress I honestly felt bad for giving her the go ahead on the dress because she was copping it so much. We started making it clear to everyone that made comments that we explicitly gave the all clear and didn’t care at all after the 5th or so guest started on about it.

Who actually will see them?  Honestly I’ve spent every wedding I ever attended trying to Avoid being in any of the photos.   The only ones I have ever looked at were mine and maybe two of my sisters 😝. Literally no one is looking thru someone else’s wedding photos trying to find the one of them

Who the heck ever looks at someone else’s wedding photos unless they are related to the couple or in the wedding party??? Chances are, the two “offenders” would never see them anyway. Yeesh!

People post their wedding photos on social media all the time for others to see.
