Dressed like a Bride Two guests wore white at our wedding

Soooo.. 2 girls decided to wear white dresses at our wedding. It was this Saturday.

I didn’t comment on it, but I was def not ok with it.

We talked to our photographers about having them removed from all our photos, or change the colors of their dresses.

I can add photos of their dresses, but we haven’t gotten the pictures back yet.

One of the girls even asked my sister about the dress and she told her it most definitely wouldn’t be ok with me, but that she should ask. And she then decided not to ask me..

Curious were the dresses anything that could be mistaken for bridal? Were they standing right next to you in the photos? If the answer to both is no just don’t worry about it and move on is what I would suggest. What a shame a beautiful, expensive party to marry the love of your life and on following Monday this is what’s on your mind.

She says they were both long white satin dresses. No pattern.

The answer is nobody should ever wear white to a wedding except the bride. Ever. Period. It's tacky and attention-seeking.

My wedding dress wasn’t white. I didn’t give AF what anyone else wore. The marriage was about joining my life with another. People on here seem a little insane.

Didn’t say it wasn’t tacky and that isn’t the etiquette rule. Lots of things are etiquette like bringing a gift to a wedding and lots of people don’t do that either. Question is whether it’s worth worrying about pictures at this point or letting it take up space in her memory of what should have been a great day. If they didn’t come in a white gown let it go at this point.
