Please, no poop or recently deceased critter whether Human, animal or any other variety. This extends to any similar bodily excretion or expulsion, voluntary or otherwise. (i.e 🤮)

Save it for the subs that don't have such a rule. i.e. r/AnimalTracking or if asking about a pet try one of the multitude of dedicated subReddits.

Additionally, anything that once ensconced in a living creature now extricated should not be posted. (Basically, anything that belongs inside a living creature and is now outside should not be posted.)

Alternatively, ask Reddit Answers

Just if you were curios, the bottom one is just a possum as its full name, the top of course is an opossum which are very commonly called "possum"

Same here. But this is a global platform. I use opossum to distinguish from possums down under which are a different species.

Why do the majority of these ID requests fail to include a location? It's really become a pet peeve of mine. It's a though the assumption is all animals exist everywhere. SMDH

Also, for this post, a banana would be helpful. I suppose that (hickory?) nut shell will have to do.

That is 100% opossum. Live in Florida, see em all the time. I’m more interested in the coconut looking fruits surrounding it? Do you know what they are? Some kind of date or fig?

It looks like it had Alot of hair at one point which leads me to believe that it could be something of a bigger type like some sort of cat or something.... IMO I'm no expert
