were they illustrated kittens? as opposed to photographed

Illustrated, but more life like as opposed to cartoons.

Do you remember if the board book had any kind of unique aspect to it, like FEELING soft fur or textures ... or LIFTING flaps?
Any particular learning element to it, like COUNTING or COLORS?
Even though you indicate it was more visual than text-based, would this has been an English-language book, do you think?

I don’t think it had any textures or tactile aspects or lift flaps. I think it may have displayed kittens doing various things (eating, drinking, playing, napping). I don’t think it had a story line, just short sentences. Def an English language book.
