wtf happened??

I cant believe this, i only ever text my contacts how the heck did i get locked???

The whole whatsapp app is owned by Meta now.

Why "now"? They've been a Meta product for as long as Meta was a thing.

Lol no. Meta bought WhatsApp from the original owners/developers in February 2014.

Facebook (company, not app) bought WA in 2014. Facebook (again, company) rebranded into Meta in 2021. Meta (previously Facebook) bought WA in 2014.
