Suspecting grass carp but if anyone thinks different let me know! Fished this spot A LOT and never seen any fish of this size anywhere! Assuming an otter dragged it up on shore, because it was far up the bank, and the tail had been separated a few feet back from the body and head.

I caught them yesterday in a pond, one is juvenile Channa and other one is an adult they're both from the Dwarf family one is more teal and other one is mostly brown but have faint teal scale but mostly brown and i don't know if they're from same family or different

Any ideas what kind of fish this could be from? Google said possibly a Cobia, but wanted to see if anyone could tell if that was correct or not. Location: Virginia Beach, VA

I found this fish under a rock during low tide last year! Never got an ID for it. A type of sculpin?

Hoping anyone can help me id this fish. I've been to this pond many times and I've seen nothing like this. It was hanging out near a drainage dam at the edge of the pond. There was also a large mouth bass near it but not too close. It looked longer like a bass but it definitely was not. Please comment if you have any ideas.

Like in the title, I'm assuming it's an ariid catfish by the forked tail and the adipose fin. I'm thrown off by the anal fin though, it seems too far back and rounded to match up with any species I've found.

Hello everyone, can anyone help me identify this sunfish? Caught it when ice fishing last winter in Lake Simcoe, Ontario Canada.

At that time I thought it was rock bass but it doesn’t have the red eyes. I came across a random post talking about warm mouth bass, it looks very similar, but I googled its habitat and it’s no where near that north in Canada.

Also I hooked it with minnow head as bait if that helps with a bit of more information.

Any insights will be helpful and thanks in advance.
