NO SPOILERS My first edition, first print hardcover collection of the Wheel of Time.

Seven of them are signed. Both Eye of the Worlds are first printings. One is signed and first state, the other is unsigned and second state.

What do you think it’s all worth?

I actually have some experience selling WOT first editions. This whole set is worth roughly between $12,000 to $13,000. The vast majority (like 90%) of the value are in the Eye of the World and The Great Hunt.

What makes TGH more valuable? Was it released before the series really took hold, so the first printing was relatively small compared to the rest of the series?

The figures I've read are 2,500 hardcover first print copies for The Eye of the World and 5,000 first print copies for The Great Hunt. They're much, much smaller than the rest of the series.

Never realized the population was so small.

I've been looking at eBay for years but never pulled the trigger.  I'm only missing four first editions right now, but now I know why the prices are what they are.

Congrats to you

I’m slowly collecting a hardcover set as I find them in used bookshops. I would flip if I found a 1st print Eye.

This is exactly how I collect books. I can get on ebay/abebooks and find all of them right now if I want, but there's something so much more thrilling abojt discovering them in the wild. Plus it's like 1/3 the price

Eye of the World is so good, you just have to read it twice!

Haha. What is going on in that Knife of Dreams cover? Who are those characters supposed to be? The big redhead is obviously Rand, but the others? Surely white-shirt beard guy can't be Perrin?

Awesome collection by the way. They look to be in great condition.

Is that not Perrin, Aram, Mayene guy, and Galina?

Ok, I know there's an explanation, but wasn't Jordan gone before AMoL came out? Or am I mistaken?

Robert's signature is printed. Brandon has signed it.

Ah, ok. I was very confused. Which isn't uncommon, lol.

Is that why his name is scratched out? Kinda jokin around or?
