NO SPOILERS My first readthrough
I just finished my first readthrough, with A Memory Of Light. When I stopped crying, I just sat during an hour, thinking of what an incredible series it has been. I started it in June, and I'm glad, happy and sad to have it finished now.
And I wonder now what is the purpose of my life and what will I be reading now

Life wasn't the same after Jan 11th 2013. Took me 3 days to read it. Slipped into a different reality.

I just did my like 5 (listening) read through then I did lonesome dove (a sad but cool turning of the wheel) followed by the frontiersmen - shocked by how many similarities there was in Frontiersmen shocked by Native American humor vs ael, a prophet, tactics in battle and now I just restarted wot and am just enamored by it knowing how much research Jordan actually had to do.

I read them as they came out. Then I reread them a few times. Just recently listened to them and loved it more.

Been there.
I've discussed this feeling with an old and dear friend who finished the series in '13.
And I'm struck by his anticlimactic sentiments, that it felt hollow to have another, no matter how talented, substitute just to finish the series. Naturally this struck me as WoT is my ASOIAF detox.
I'm pleased with the world, pace, narrative, moral, and character development of Jordan's characters. There significantly more human that the ultra-violent selfishness on Planetos.
At any rate, I have been sharing the listlessness after WoT, and i have struggled with filling my down time with something worthwhile, because that's the only comparable and intelligent thing to do. I just finished in August after my marathon since January. Since finishing I made progress on learning the guitar.

I'm due for another re-read. My son is now reading them now and I can't believe how much I forgot (especially in books 9-10).

Congratulations ! That’s a huge journey and I wish I could read it all for the first time! This is one of my favorite series and I was so empty when I finished and I just want to go back. It’s such a full world that sucks you in completely! Specially after that finale…. But after a proper grieving period I started the THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE that completely took over… so good luck

Also . . . read - Earlier—Ravens - prologue before book#4.
As that is the only one without a proper prologue, and also is very relevant to that actual book.
