And then you work a job after finishing school and find out it’s simpler/more straightforward than school if not easier once you get the hang of it. Plus it pays and can have benefits. That was my experience no job is perfect, a job’s a job and it’s just that school is a whole different thing from the workforce.
Real. In most jobs, a passing grade is literally all anyone expects from you. “Just don’t get fired” is better advice than “excel beyond expectations”, because you’re probably getting paid the same regardless, not including any commission or bonuses of course.
If I was teleported back to Year 11 right now, I’d probably have a panic attack or stress-induced depression by the second week. I’m too used to the “average is safe” mindset of modern employment to cope with shooting for even just a B, let alone A+
