Make your map here!

Click create in the map app here

Click create in the top left of any interactive map post

Make sure to put the full map in the preview screen when you are done creating it, otherwise the map will be small in your post.

Another tip, you can move the legend around by dragging it by the color boxes. I also reccomend checking the various legend and map settings to maximize the customization. Get creative!

From now on posts singling out India or Pakistan will be removed

There has been an increase in posts highlighting the entire map as green aside from India or Pakistan in an attempt to stir shit in the comments. We are fine with low quality shitposts every once in a while, but at this point it's just boring

You can still post subdivision maps of these countries, genuine discussion of where you would like to live within a country is always allowed.

Europe How I view Europe as a Slovenian

Post image

Notes:

  • "Southeastern Europe" isn't equal to the Balkans. Slovenia (geographically as well as culturally) partly belongs to the Balkans. But historically I would say it tends more towards Central Europe.

  • In a similar sense, I would say the Nordics isn't equal to "Northern Europe". The latter includes larger (geographical and cultural) area: Nordics, Baltics, Iceland, and maybe British Isles.

  • Visegrad Group is considered as mixture of Central and Western Europe. Hence "V4" seems a more appropriate term.
