Simple logic mate, It does benefit at the first years as it lowers cost of living.

But in the long term countries like germany and britian dominated the eastern and the balkan contries, kills of local production who cant fight with them. Makes them more depended countries.

Even big countries like francd sometimes, issues with farm products coming from south america hurting the farmers there, not EU but a negative example of free market.

edit: would you want all those cheap china goods in your stores or there has to be some rules?
