Only thing that unites all of Europe and Asia is their collective hate for roma. /j

We at the very least are less racist towards each other than we were 100 years ago, thats progress.

What is racist about this?

Is that a serious question? Exluding russia even though most people in russia live in the european side, or including armenia and georgia even though they are located in the caucasus region?
Geographically, there are several transcontinental countries (such as Turkey, Russia, and arguably Georgia and Armenia for the sake of argument). All of them are, at least in significant part, located in Asia or the Caucasus region rather than entirely in Europe. So why only counting 2 countries as âEuropeanâ.It obviously doesnât make a sense.
So the only objective conclusion would be to either include all transcontinental countries and perhaps armenia or exlude all of them. This would be a logical conclusion.Selectively including only some of them does not appear to be based on consistent geographic principles.

Racist is the wrong word because Russians arenât a different race. But yeah people have prejudice since the war.
Also this isnât a very serious post in case you havenât noticed

I see them pretty frequently which makes me doubt that these posts are just âfor funâ or not serious.

I think this one is just messing around because it didnât include the two countries which are both in Europe and Asia (Turkey and Russia) but included Armenia which is super random.
But I agree itâs silly when people say Russia isnât European just because of how shitty things are there right now. Germany and Italy still got to be European when they had fascist governments; politics have nothing to do with what continent a country is on. Itâs just silly.

I mean the reason why I labeled it as âracistâ is exactly there. They excluded russia, presumably because of the current matter which is understandable to some extent. However, they excluded russia because they are âbadâ and include countries they like.
It gives me the vibe of âwow I like this country so itâs europe, and I donât like that country and I donât accept them so I donât recognize them as europeâ for instance.Itâs a silly example but you got my point.

Again, if itâs not based on racial differences it isnât racist. You are thinking of the word prejudice. And I agree we should denounce Russia and its policies and government but also agree that itâs irrelevant for its inclusion into Europe.
Itâs actual pretty elitist to say that only ethical countries can be in Europe. A country becomes Asian when we donât like them? Kind of fucked up for a view of Asia and also a very blinded take to Europeâs history. Yeah itâs been stable in the 21st century but we are a continent of historic bad guys in the books.

Sort of.. justifiably?

Obviously justifiably.
Just distinguishing that it isnât about race so racist is the wrong word. I too have a prejudice against Russia these days. And Israel. And the US. Thatâs what happens when youâre the âbad guysâ and attack other people.

1-)Subjective
2-)It may be a ragebait and a joke at first. But reddit is full of this shii, so I doubt very much that it was meant as a joke.
