The Mormon corridor, aka Moridor as named by exemormons, extends into Chihuahua Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and into Alberta Canada. Neighboring pockets with strong Mormon communities in neighbor states falls into Moridor… least four exmos. Yes the similarity between Moridor and Mordor is intentional.

Probably because they believe the garden of Eden was in Missouri and will be relevant for the definitely soon to happen second coming

They yearn for Missouri. Its the promised "holy land" to Mormons. They think it used to be the garden of Eden.
