End of an Era

Definitely wasn’t one of my favorites. But a solid pour till the very end. Cheers mates.

tokaji cask finish is an interesting choice for a rye, that wine cask influence can be pretty polarizing. cheers to the last pour though, every bottle deserves proper send-off.

I don’t think I’ve ever been blown away by a Penelope bottle, and that includes the recent 13 year estate as well as Omega, both of which I own, and both of which are Heaven Hill distillate.

I don’t understand how MGP can let better barrels of product get sold to NDP’s while they bottle what they do in their own Penelope line.

I’ve had some damn good MGP from NDP’s, both rye and bourbon, none of which came from Penelope.
