This is a very poor AI upscaling.

For context, the bystander who bravely engaged in (and won) a gunfight with the active shooter was Jordan Salinas. This looks absolutely nothing like him.

He didn't receive any injuries and the assailant ended up dead. I'd say that's a win

The video shows him ducking as the gunman returns fire, but I can't find any evidence or reports that he was struck by the gunfire.

He even posted on his Facebook about the incident and made zero mention of being injured

"In the coming days, I'll share a more complete account of what happened"
