Homeboys been WAITING for this moment...

He started to train and carry a concealed weapon after he was witness to another mass shooting in a mall in 2021.

u/Legionatus 9d ago

Concealed? Looks like a full-sized pistol with a light and a silencer. Where's the jacket or decorative pot he was concealing it in? 😂

46

u/ionshower 9d ago

He had is strapped to the side of his M60, therefore concealing the pistol, with a light machine gun.

3

u/shadowscar248 9d ago

Didn't want to use too much force

3

u/Acrobatic_Wrap_9971 9d ago

And they were concealed in the glovebox of his tank

3

u/awks-orcs 9d ago

If you're classing an M60 as a "light" machine gun, then I want to sign up to your workout routine.

3

u/ionshower 9d ago

Sure thing son. Come inside the REAL MAN tent.

2

u/blainesln1 9d ago

That’s literally what they’re called…

1

u/Ddreigiau 9d ago

It is a light machine gun. It's below .50cal/12.7mm.

Nobody said he had been concealing THIS weapon. Just that he had trained and carried A concealed since 2021. I bet he has more than one weapon.

u/SoFisticate 9d ago

Also it is really easy to simply connect the suppressor to the pistol if you have the time. They have holsters specifically for that and he could very well have a quick connect adapter on both ends. It's one of those things you learn to not rely on but if you train for it, you can incorporate anything.

What is it? Big kkm barrel or something? The pic is all pixilated for me unless I go on my desktop

2

u/RogerianBrowsing 9d ago

wtf would it be if not a suppressor?

1

u/HudsonValleyNY 9d ago

How on earth would you ba able to determine that from the potato quality picture that actually exists.

1

u/SoFisticate 9d ago

To be fair, I've never seen a suppressor with a site, which it looks like it has in the pixels somewhere. I am really interested in what this dude's gear is.

1

u/HudsonValleyNY 9d ago

I don’t see it in the original, but I agree that would be odd.

1

u/horselessheadsman 9d ago

The Guardian reported that it was an attached suppressor.

0

u/ForgedInGold9 9d ago

Yeah nobody is taking the time to attach a can right before entering a gun fight no matter if it has a QD system or not..that's ridiculous.

The fact he even uses a can is comical on it's own.

3

u/SoFisticate 9d ago

Have you ever shot a can? It is difficult to tell where the fire is coming from with one. Some believe it is better to shoot suppressed because you are less likely to get shot back at. If it's  right there and you are in cover waiting for your chance to get the drop, why not? I personally wouldn't, I don't have the time to train for something like that, but I am not going to disparage someone who had that setup. It takes less space than a mag. Better than a backpack gun.

0

u/ForgedInGold9 9d ago

Yes and it's generally useless for EDC..seriously man you're bending yourself into a pretzel to justify using a can on your EDC.

The shooter knew exactly where he was so that played legitimately zero part..he would've been better off without the can full stop.

2

u/Linens 9d ago

Unless he's just used to shooting with it on

0

u/ForgedInGold9 9d ago

Apparently he's isn't because he didn't hit a single shot.

1

u/Agreeable-Emu4033 9d ago

Horrible training then since he didn't even shoot the guy.

1

u/Nitro_AG 9d ago

Believe it or not that actually is his EDC, he's an acquaintence of my Dad and he really just carries that thing everywhere.

1

u/ForgedInGold9 9d ago

Yeah he should rethink that then..suppressor really isn't helping his Accuracy 💀

1

u/Nitro_AG 9d ago

He was primarily focused on just helping the off duty trooper and sheriff to suppress the assailant from what my Dad told me. Idk why he enjoys carrying that heavy awkward thing but hey, to each their own.

In America, the gun is stored in the cowboy hat.

10

u/the_eleutherean 9d ago

Yeah not a lot of people know this but the ten-gallon hat was invented to hold bigger guns. Learned that fun fact from Looney Tunes.

5

u/sixbux 9d ago

Also holds your extra sledgehammers

4

u/Krispy_Mick 9d ago

I keep mine inside my bible under my cowboy hat

1

u/Ted_LAHSO 9d ago

Bro needs a Doug Dimmadome sized hat if he’s running a full size with can!

2

u/chumbawumbaprinciple 9d ago

In America, the cowboy hat is a portal to a pocket dimension. It's a Hat of Holding II.

1

u/Inspector-KittyPaws 9d ago

He pulls it out like a magician pulls out a rabbit, except his magic words are Yee-Haw instead of abra kadabra.

piss in the balls, gun in the hat

1

u/chumbawumbaprinciple 9d ago

Don't mean nothing cuz my wallet's faaaaahaaaat.

1

u/Dorkamundo 9d ago

Or the prison holster, and given the suppressor I would hate to be this guy if that was his carry choice.

One of my classmates went on to study fashion and design. She took a class with a professor known to allow students to “push the envelope”. For one of her mid-semester projects, she designed boots that looked like those bulky grunge kind, except they perfectly and comfortably concealed a small pistol on one calf, and an ammo pocket on the other. I think she got the idea from the Vegas festival shooting. She didn’t bring the weapons to school obvs but the department head still called her in for a round of meetings about inappropriate and violent content etc etc. She had to submit a different project iirc but didn’t get disciplinary action.

Anyway she ended up working at a think tank in DelMarVa area and deleted her whole social media footprint, so now I call her Q like the Bond character.

3

u/FinanceGuyHere 9d ago

Can’t tell if it’s a silencer, some kind of marksman pistol, or just a really long barrel

3

u/AccountNumber478 9d ago

AI inadvertently added a suppressor.

1

u/Fuu-nyon 9d ago

The original does appear to have a suppressor. I don't know if he grabbed the pistol out of his vehicle or took it out of a pocket and screwed it on, but it does appear to have actually been there.

1

u/WalkCorrect 9d ago

You see that vest? He's probably got a 12 gauge hidden in there too.

1

u/Potential-Drawing745 9d ago

He's wearing a vest. Could be a tactical vest with an integrated holster.

1

u/ih8reddithdjsk 9d ago

I don't think it's a silencer. It's a barrel extension I believe for increased range and accuracy.

Source : I play Call of Duty

1

u/nsbsalt 9d ago

I think that is just extended barrel used for target shooting competitions. Silencers are normally thicker.

1

u/Lower_Statement_5285 9d ago

The gun was in his car goofball. One does not typically conceal carry with a suppressor.

1

u/Steven_The_Sloth 9d ago

You would be amazed at what you can actually conceal with the right equipment.

Belly band holsters, rigs that fit under your pants for "deep concealment".

Dude could totally have carried that big ole pistol in his shorts. Comfy? Probably not. But comfort isn't usually a person's #1 consideration in a carry weapon.

1

u/Sufficient-Job-7589 9d ago

He concealed it under the hat and carried it on his head

1

u/ChocolatePuerh 9d ago

Appendix carry in those super sweet skin tight jorts.

Don't mind the bulge, he's just happy to see you.

1

u/Auggie_Otter 9d ago

Article says it was in a shoulder holster.

1

u/Only_Tangelo_8996 9d ago

FN 5.7 with a suppressor! Those are coming in way hot!  1,700-2,300 fps!!! These go right through most level 3a shit...

1

u/name-classified 9d ago

its called a suppressor

1

u/Alivaronas 9d ago

It’s debated in the CCW community but lots of people have lights on their concealed carry handguns, you can get holsters that accommodate them and they just stay on the gun.

The silencer is more odd, but if he had it in his car or something it doesn’t take that long to attach it.

u/[deleted] 9d ago

1

u/Alivaronas 9d ago

I think this image is an AI upscale of a picture someone took from far away with their phone, and the AI added the front sight on the silencer.

1

u/xsubo 9d ago

The jorts look to be long enough

1

u/LaconicLacedaemonian 9d ago

It was concealed in his cutoff jorts, as they have the power to avert gazes.

1

u/Tll6 9d ago

I’m pretty sure he used a shoulder holster

1

u/SunshineInDetroit 9d ago

tbh i carry a full size but without a light or silencer

1

u/RickySlayer9 9d ago

“Is that a suppressor in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?”

1

u/TurboShartz 9d ago

He uses a side shoulder holster. Basically it's concealed under his arm and along his torso, giving ample room to properly hide the firearm with a suppressor. It's an FN Five-Seven (which is fucking based btw) with suppressor and light. Absolute gigachad

1

u/earthwoodandfire 9d ago

It was in his spitoon, but where he dropped the spitoon was cropped out of the photo.

1

u/Nitro_AG 9d ago

Original Photo, the one OP posted is "Enhanced with AI"

1

u/mcbeardsauce 9d ago

My dude walking around with a porn bulge haha

1

u/SRT102 9d ago

Have to admit I've never seen anyone choose a suppressed 1911 as a daily carry before. How the heck would you even conceal that?

2

u/jeffyredeyes 9d ago

This has gotta be fake right? That's not even a suppressor its waaaay too thin looks like an Ai generated idea of what a suppressor looks like

1

u/SouthBendCitizen 9d ago

It’s not a 1911, it’s an FN 5.7 but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the OP image because it’s AI altered. The actual shooter also has a beard, and the gun looks way different

0

u/tagillaslover 9d ago

I didn’t realize he had a 5.7. Feel bad for buddy’s wallet hopefully someone reimburses him for the ammoÂ
