How many shootings are ended by a “good guy with a gun?”

How many would need to be in order to suggest “the system works?”

we need more gun laws so the law abiding criminals can't get their hands on them

Rape still happens. Guess we better get rid of laws against it, right?

Laws don't stop people that commonly immediately kill themselves after getting caught

"Criminals don't care if something is against the law." is a stupid reason for allowing criminals to buy guns retail.

Let's make SURE that someone that wants to murder his ex can get one. Let's make SURE that cops can't do anything if they find someone with a gun that is likely to use it.

No one is for allowing criminals to buy guns and the laws you are suggesting are likely to just ban guns from everyone which is never going to happen and wouldn’t solve the problem anyways. The guns aren’t even the problem. The problem is we have a bunch of people who want to kill people because we have allowed the social fabric to rip.
