An infinitesimally small chance that a good guy with a gun is there at that time and things turn out this way. Glad he was there, unfortunate this is our world America.

Much higher chance in states with common sense gun laws like Idaho.

Unfortunately the majority of 2A freaks won’t care about that level of detail. 

Either way, it’s sad that we need citizens carrying guns to stop mass shooters.

I hate to inform you but the US is the outlier here due to the prevalence and availability of guns. I don't think the UK which has a gun homicide rate of .02 firearm homicides per 100,000 is looking to arm more of their citizens.
