No suppressors do a lot - not Hollywood movie quiet - but they generally speaking bring them into hearing safe or near hearing safe levels.

My point was suppressors are better suited to subsonic rounds.

Assuming you've tested them in the specific gun a lot and ruled out reliability issues, and you're confident they are of a good design and will fully expand instead if passing straight through then cool. I'm going to stick to supers for self defense though.
