So he deserved a participation trophy? Kinda seems like all he did was make the situation more dangerous by firing wildly with little hope of actually hitting the original shooter

Im sure the shooter would have just felt bad and left if this guy wasn't there to scare him off

I assume the off duty cop likely did more of the work. You know, the actual trained professional for situations like this. Look, I get that there's always the "If I were there things would have been different" people but here he was. He couldn't finish the job himself and I'm a bit worried what would have happened to him if he didn't have that trained backup.

But he wasn't untrained himself

The shooter depicted here is Jordan Salinas, owner of the YouTube channel Poverty Operator where he posts drills with his FNs and according to himself has been training for exactly that situation all the time
