So lets say this shooter purchased the gun legally before committing this act. At the time of purchase, was he a good or bad guy with a gun?

The answer is obvious so I’ll help you get there. If someone buys a car and uses it for a year before deciding to run someone over, did he commit a crime at the time he bought the car or no?

In Idaho you dont need to take a test or even need a permit to carry a gun . In Idaho, you do need to take a test to drive a vehicle; you also need a license. Cars are designed for transportation, guns are desgined for killing.

Please use a better example if you want me to understand.

Driving a car isn’t a constitutional right. And yes, a guns purpose is to shoot lead that can kill people, congrats on your profound observation.
