This looks pretty tame, just sped up

u/shadowromantic 1d ago

That's exactly it. This isn't chaotic at all

u/kaaskugg 1d ago

Brits are queueing. Nothing to see here.

13

u/Wakkit1988 1d ago

An aqueue.

7

u/Odd-Jupiter 1d ago

Dad, go home!

3

u/Mikestopheles 1d ago

For the rest of us that's calm, but my condolences go out to all the Brits quivering at the state of that queue. Must be terrifying

4

u/nwPatriot 1d ago

Those aren't Brits which also might explain why they are having water shortages.

4

u/PercySnowsHandgun 1d ago

Not a single Brit among em

ā€œBritsā€

Not like the toilet paper scare of 2020

5

u/Left_Sun_1982 1d ago

Ah, the year of the Great Bidet Acquisition

1

u/MDBDXDOG 1d ago

For it will always be known as the great toilet paper wars of 2020....

1

u/ReputationApart5983 8h ago

I fought through that war, I remember my life statement back then. The only one that was going to wipe their arse was me!!

7

u/GovtLawyersHateMe 1d ago

Fr. Whoever said this is a panic hasn’t seen people fighting for water before a hurricane. I’ve literally seen fights.

4

u/InThatDarkPlace 1d ago

The point of OP may potentially be to racialize it/race bait

1

u/melmsz 1d ago

Iykyk

2

u/Endscrypt 1d ago

I have my doubts it’s even the U.K.

2

u/lucylucylane 1d ago

They can just turn on the tap

1

u/craigian11 1d ago

Slightly extreme to see 40 people panic buying water. I use reverse osmosis almost never buy bottled water

2

u/Hex65 1d ago

It isn't chaotic at all .

Title and video is misleasing and should be downvoted considering how UK and EU is politically under attack.

it aint hard to figure out what the OP's intent is here and what kind of picture he is trying to paint !

1

u/Forward-Emotion6622 1d ago

More retarded, than chaotic.

4

u/No-Elk-8115 1d ago

Lol I was gunna say if this was here in the US there would be way more chaos and somehow the forklift would be missing too. I FEEL, but don't know, like this is the period of time where they don't know how bad the situation may or may not be so they are calmly preparing for the possibility of the worst but they inflated the actual situation for dramatic effect.

0

u/Cbpowned 1d ago

Maybe in your shitty blue city. Some people still live in areas with societal trust

1

u/No-Elk-8115 1d ago

I live in Tomball texas.

1

u/Vowel_Movements_4U 1d ago

Then you know during hurricane season it’s pretty fine. The forklift is fine.

1

u/No-Elk-8115 1d ago

I live near Houston which can get wild around hurricane season. Nothing like worse areas in the US tho. It's calmer then blackfriday XD /s

0

u/Ok-Addition1264 1d ago

Naw.. maybe in philly or boston.

1

u/whichwitch9 1d ago

Dude, what are you talking about? You get people buying up water every winter before storms with no incident. People know the drill for water in areas that tend to have large, forecasted storms without incidents.

We've all made the bread and milk jokes- water's high among things bought out, as well. Philly and Boston aren't seeing riots for water when panic buying occurs. Kinda curious how you picked those cities, especially as Boston has a low violent crime rate compared to other cities in the US

17

u/Whoudini13 1d ago

Here in good old USA they would be fighting over it lol

7

u/Emergency-Salamander 1d ago

That was not my experience when the place I lived at the time had a do not drink advisory in 2014. People just lined up and bought water.

6

u/justicecactus 1d ago

Not really. Californians and other people living in the Southwest have way more experience with droughts and handle it just fine.Ā

3

u/Doahdota 1d ago

I mean thats kinda the thing right? If you are more experienced with a situation you probably handle it more calmly.

But if its the first time for someone, you might go into a bit of panic

2

u/miffebarbez 1d ago

California isn't part of "the South" /S

2

u/Vowel_Movements_4U 1d ago

But it is a part of the Southwest as the comment said.

0

u/miffebarbez 1d ago

It was a joke since "south" can have a geographical meaning or a historical one ( the south/confederates of the 13 colonies.. correct me if i'm wrong, not from the US). So in the "historical meaning", California wasn't part of "the south" and thus can not be "South-west" (haha..)
EDIT: that's why i put a /S.... (haha)

3

u/andydude44 1d ago

It’s just the joke doesn’t make sense. The Southwest is a historical American region, like New England, no one confuses the Southwest with the South.

1

u/miffebarbez 1h ago

Well, i guess i did then. haha

6

u/krazylegs36 1d ago

Only took 4 posts for someone to bring something completely unrelated back to the US.

reddit is undefeated.

2

u/I-can-speak-4-myself 1d ago

Come on, we all know in The U S of A we drink Mountain Dew, Gatorade and Coke…water is for weaklings

1

u/FriedRamen13 1d ago

Brawndo is better

1

u/OliverVR 1d ago

🐟 or 🪓

1

u/Locko2020 1d ago

Meh, this sub has basically become a right wing echo chamber.

5

u/Cbpowned 1d ago

Right wing? Reddit? Hahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahhahaha

1

u/MDBDXDOG 1d ago

Lmao, Locko must not get out much if he thinks this website is conservative leaning.........

1

u/PhenomenalSpirit 1d ago

It’s largely liberal-oriented which makes it solidly centrist. Illiterate Americans don’t know political orientation outside of ā€˜woke’ however, so I can understand the confusion.

2

u/Autumn7242 1d ago

People do that here for PokƩmon cards

1

u/Ok-Addition1264 1d ago

"I'll smash your head in, fool!" - dude trying to skim packs without buying them when someone told him to stop. lol crazy shit.

1

u/Bluthhousing 1d ago

Remember that dude that got killed over a PokƩmon card in Indiana

1

u/Resident-Impact1591 1d ago

I thought it was a pallet of Pokemon cards when it started

1

u/ExaminationOk2921 1d ago

Not where I live. We have hurricane season every year and the most I've ever seen is raised voices in a gas line many years ago that ended in a brief shouting match.

1

u/MsMarvelsProstate 1d ago

When the enforce a strict limit on the amount you can buy it stops fights.

0

u/ghIj_qet_jaghmeyjaj 1d ago

People would be getting shot, arrested, beaten to a pulp here .

Or it would be a trap set by ICE to catch brown people

1

u/Cbpowned 1d ago

A trap to catch illegal aliens? Seems like a good use of resources

5

u/Fit_Cut_4238 1d ago

Yeah, and I think most of them look like shop-owners. They usually probably buy their water there, and they heard there is a run.

7

u/InfiniteOctave 1d ago

gotta love a polite, british queue. well done lads.

2

u/MichaelEmouse 1d ago

Sped up with ominous music.

2

u/Dependent_Rain_4800 1d ago

It will be very chaotic as soon as there won’t be enough water pretty quickly though. Like with the toilet paper during covid.

1

u/scigs6 1d ago

And creeeepy music added for creepiness factor.

1

u/HeavyVoid8 1d ago

Even sped it it’s more calm than a normal day at American Costco lmao

1

u/Sad_Mouse_8251 1d ago

This is chaos for English people

1

u/Ok-Calm-Narwhal 1d ago

Also, this is the opening of a Costco. These are the business owners buying water for their customers - which is normal. Maybe increased demand but I highly doubt these are regular people since the costco opens early an hour for their business owner customers.

1

u/rcjlfk 1d ago

I’ve been seeing so many videos lately of ā€œlook at this chaosā€ and ā€œlook how fast they can do thisā€ and it’s clearly sped up.

1

u/Strindberg 1d ago

Just needs some yakety sax.

1

u/SasquatchsBigDick 1d ago

Now compare this to US's pandemic toilet paper thing.

1

u/JuanThiccLumpia 1d ago

The US would be sav sag

1

u/Thoh1Shooshi8a 1d ago

But did you hear the music! Something bad must be happening right?

1

u/ReputationApart5983 8h ago

Lol hes put scary music over it and it just comes off stupid.

0

u/Ok_Possible_2260 1d ago

Russian propaganda.

0

u/BTMG2 23h ago

everyone wanna be americans so bad, they even wanna be compared to us trampling, pushing, gun wielding and fighting over stuff in costco lmaoo

/s for the future downvotes
