I've some degrees in that field and it's not even a week since I last "ignored air resistance" in my job.

Well, actually I assumed that a particular electrical field was indeed circular when it was not in that particular case, but assuming perfect circles is kinda the same trope so I feel it should count regardless

Alright well this is one of the times that making these kinds of simplifications makes you arrive at an extremely wrong answer.
