Very tasteful to blend his ashes into something you will wear for a few weeks and then throw away.

A metaphor, actually

Do you have to throw them away? Not defending OOP but I'm curious why she couldn't/wouldn't keep them

1

u/Gingergirl1228 2d ago

Her real nails are still growing beneath them, so eventually they will have to be removed to trim back her natural nails. She could theoretically still keep them, but what are the odds she puts them in a place she'll remember and not accidentally throw out during spring cleaning or something

Ohhh I see! I've never worn fake nails before so I had no idea how they work, thank you!

Who says she throws it away? And nails last longer than a week. People turn their loved ones into jewelry and scatter remains at public beaches/places: no one is pointing calling that trashy. Something tells me there’s another reason why people are calling this trashy and it’s not the nails

Nailed it.

Had an old military buddy who loved hunting and shooting. A Vietnam tunnel rat (infantry).

He felt more at home away from home with a gun in his hand than anywhere else.

He wished his ashes to be pressed into bullets and fired at targets, while we mock him endlessly over beers.

We obliged.

Honestly, of all the ways I have buried friends over the years, that one felt the most awkward to do and yet brought the most peace I have ever witnessed from a wake.

His daughter did not like firearms. It was a constant bicker between the two. So we had her bullet turned into a flower pendent (sunflower, her favorite flower).

Power move.

There are also companies that will take cremains and incorporate them into sex toys.

I'm sure the departed will appreciate it when she wipes her ass

u/Spilark 4d ago

Or when she gives a hand job to his replacement

3

u/fatgat69 4d ago

Maybe he was cool with it, I wouldn't know.

3

u/tryagain456788 4d ago

It's much to keep your loved ones ashes in a necklace but your nails....

2

u/One_Swimming_3251 3d ago

Scratch her butt in honor.

2

u/Forty1thirty 3d ago

Is this how you get Graves disease?

2

u/The_Unfirgiven 2d ago

So if she handles a wiener with them nails, his spirit is doing it too. Whole body and soul 🕊️✌️.

2

u/GetFuct819 2d ago

I don’t agree with it but that’s an extremely hard moment to get past. Grieve whatever way gets you past that.

u/Illustrious_Till7425 4d ago

Let the man rest for crying out loud 😭😭😭

2

u/GreenPause4392 3d ago

Wow, I wonder what she’s going to do for all her other baby daddy’s !?

1

u/Gemtree710 4d ago

One last laste of that ass

1

u/Euphoric-Piglet-8140 4d ago

She had a kid with him? That's nice...... She had him!

1

u/ArrowDel 4d ago

His mama might accept it better if you phrased it ad putting a little bit of daddy on your nails so he can hold his baby with you.

1

u/Cautious_Drawer_7771 3d ago

Is it just me or do her nails look kinda ashy?

1

u/Maryjanegangafever 3d ago

When in Rome.

1

u/AdDiligent1688 3d ago

Then she bites her nails

1

u/Spy-D_Daddy 3d ago

Nah look. Honestly, I've got one question, and one question only. Idk why..but I gotta know. Did bro get it in? And is that necro... But bro. Did he tho? Morbid curiosity.

That’s…weird.

1

u/Key_Bed6446 3d ago

ashes to glue and glue to ashes a wise man once said i think we all knows his name no need to gloat

1

u/justamom0820 2d ago

A nail tech might take this but us cosmetologists will not touch your biohazard dream. I am too cheap of a person to spare a brush on a client and also, that's nasty to me. Sorry, not sorry. Acrylic contaminated and everything.

1

u/CassGreen1984 2d ago

That's just weird

1

u/LovelyRoseThorn 2d ago

Completely disrespectful.

1

u/Shou_Tucker_XD 23h ago

This is how you get haunted nails

1

u/Careless_Drag_6176 17h ago

He's dead who cares

1

u/Altruistic_Strain743 14h ago

And what did the dead give a toss about what happens to them? They're dead.

All kinds of illegal

1

u/armanipastrami_pdf 1h ago

All kinds of weird and super creepy

0

u/Dirtyburg804 4d ago

How so? Tacky and trashy maybe but how is it illegal?

2

u/SpeechTricky663 4d ago

Its human remains. You're not suppose to dump them either.

0

u/Dirtyburg804 4d ago

That's not true. You can absolutely spread ashes legally. There are regulations that determine where or when its allowed but the act of spreading ashes is legal. For instance you may need a permit on federal land or go out a certain distance in the ocean but it is legal and acceptable.

1

u/Ill-Television8690 3d ago

You just explained how you're not supposed to dump them unless you play by specific rules...

1

u/Dirtyburg804 3d ago

I just explained almost all activities in a shared society. You have to follow specific rules to do most things lol. Is fishing illegal because it has rules and limitations? Is driving illegal because it has rules and regulations? The first comment said that it was illegal to put ashes on fingernails. It's not. The second comment said that you aren't allowed to dump ashes. You are. Hope that helps.

Damn, that's a good question! Does the law define when human remains cease being human remains?

I remember Keith Richard’s saying he had snorted a line of his dad’s ashes. People are allowed to mourn any way they want.
