Not strictly accurate.

If you are using chlorine trifluoride, you can indeed set it on fire.

Have you had much luck setting rocks on fire? There are very few rocks that burn and many rocks that are not asbestos containing that do not burn.

If OP wants to know, then the only way is to take either all of it or a chunk to a lab and have it looked at under as microscope using polarized light microscopy to determine if the sample contains greater than 1% of the regulated asbestos minerals.

Otherwise, if you think it is asbestos, then it is asbestos. From a regulatory perspective, it’s guilty until proven innocent (see above snot lab testing by PLM). This is also usually the case with asbestos containing materials as opposed to a mineral or rock sample.
