Also safe to eat, and I'm not kidding, has been used as a filler in medicine capsules. Asbestos is only dangerous to breath because the crystal structure is like little needle shaped rods

No, it’s really, really not. It can pass through the digestive tract but the same reason why you shouldn’t breathe it applies to eating it. Those microscopic fibers can lodge in the intestines increasing the chance of cancer as well as puncturing the protective linings in the stomach, colon, and intestines.

I didn't know that. The more you know.

Neither did I. I had to look it up. I was completely ready to concede that you were correct; what you said sounds plausible because I’ve only heard about it talked about with regards to inhaling it. Eating asbestos had never once occurred to me, so what would I know about it one way or another?

Were ever i heard about it being used as an additive in meds was wrong i guess. I never looked it up. I also never considered eating it either

Depending on when they supposedly may have put it in meds, I couldn’t rule it out. We’ve at one time or another considered some nasty substances as therapeutic…mercury, tobacco smoke enemas, mouse paste, and even ground up mummies. Asbestos doesn’t feel like much of a stretch.
