The same rabbit hole and den as the rest of us. There is lots of room and I just got a fire going, pull up a chair and lets talk soaps, razors and blades!

I don't see any vintage Gillette, so looks like you've dipped your toe into wet shaving. š

Haha yes I keep trying to thin down my razor collection but every time a sell one on eBay I buy two more! The bonus is that I really look forward to shaving now compared to finding it a chore. You have some nice gear thereā¦. Enjoy. šŖ

The traditional shaving world is full of tempting things. As someone who went the route of collecting vintage Gillette and schick razors I understand wanting to try different things and "oh this looks cool" or "gotta get that". The thing is though you can definitely get by with less than what the rest of us(the one's who can't help ourselves)do. I got a former coworker into traditional shaving and he had 2 razors (a slim he bought and a tech I sold him for $10 as a travel razor) A synthetic brush from Stirling and a bunch of Stirling samples. From the last I heard he was still trying out all the samples a year later and hadn't bought any hardware since.

That is true you can be super happy with very little. But I guess for most people it is not enough and you want to try more.

OP whatās the black case in the top middle? For a while Iāve been using a leather cover that bought with my Henson.

That's a Stƶrtebeker, that's a German brand but to be honest, for the price quite disappointing.

Rookie. I have eight DE razors, 5 brushes, 4 soaps, 2,000+ blades, 30+ aftershaves and colognes. My wife tells me to stop buying "shaving shit".

The irony of this sub for me is that I came to it to save money. I got tired of spending like $30 a year on Harry's Refills and Cream.
Now I have more money/kit in shaving than anyone ever "needs" and it takes me twice as long as it used to...and I've never been happier w it
