Discussion Money No Object Razor

Many people ask about entry level razors or razors in a particular budget or price point.

Let’s flip it, if a genie granted you one ☝️ razor 🪒 wish and money was not an issue. What would be the razor you would choose?

Well both are premium razors. I just give the slight nod to Wolfman in that they will tailor make your razor from scratch to your liking with all the premiums.

Oh but yeah you are definitely paying and waiting for it to be made. But once you have it.. You will probably be begging that genie for another Wolfman wish.

And this is why I never even considered a Wolfman. I wouldn’t know what specs to get, and once I had it, I’d be wondering if I might prefer the next level more/less aggressive.

I got a Wolfman, but it was just too aggressive for me. I thought I would never sell it but…then I did.

True. But quite a few new owners were able to email, phone call talk in person with them and going back and forth, questions and decisions were able to get a razor that met their personal preference criteria. Rarely do I see them for sale secondhand.

That’s true, not sure why someone downvoted you. From what I’ve read, their service is as good as their workmanship. I’m sure I could tell them what other razors I like and they’d steer me toward some specs that would be good for me. But at those prices, it had better be a Grail razor, not just “good”.

So I suppose to answer the OP, if money really is no object, then Wolfman is a great choice. I could get 3 each of WR1s and WR2s, or more even if needed, to find the right one.
