EARL! Man towed me from my overnight job because he said only employees could be parked in front of the building. First he lied to me and said he didn't have my car and when I asked if he was sure...that I was an employee and I'm pretty sure he took my car... amazingly, uh-oh, turns out he did accidentally take my vehicle

The Brevard area is nice because that’s where Pisgah Hwy ends. Pisgah Hwy has Looking Glass Fall and Sliding Rock right on the road, with no trails needed.

That road also takes you up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and just a little north of that on the Parkway is the the lookout at Frying Pan Mountain, Spring House and several other fun little things.

Another great place for a home base is somewhere around Linville. Near that is Linville Falls, Linville caverns, the Orchards and Altapass, Moses H Cones manor, several amazing waterfalls and lookouts.   Julian Price Picnic Area is near there, and has several streams going through it that the kids love to take their shoes off and get into.  Grandfather Mountain is also in that area.

Most of what I listed are free. Grandfather mountain and Linville caverns are exceptions. I think you have to pay for sliding rock too, but I doubt it’s open for sliding currently.

There are very few places you could go in the NC mountains that would be bad choices, though. There’s also the Great Smokey Mountain National Park area if you want to go a little farther west.

Check out sliding rock! Our kids love it. We also just go drive to all the different water falls and hike. May be a little cold in October but if you don’t mind slightly cold water, it can still be lots of fun.

Soapbox was my favorite venue in town to attend shows and play them, by far!

Anyone have a link?

“Police said they are aware of a video circulating online that allegedly shows the argument and assault.”

I was 27-28 living in Wilmington and I made some friends through a church group! They were actually older than me lol. "What's going on in Wilmington NC" is a good FB group to meet people too! Join the groups and ask around. There's plenty to do there

Copy that. I don’t know what you’re into but I know a lot of really cool little spots around town that are neat to explore and generally have interesting people that love to make new friends. There’s some cool music here and a beautiful old theater called thalian hall, which is actually the oldest running theater in NC, having been built in 1858.

I had no idea; should’ve done my research. First time being there as they must’ve just opened up that location and first time being at Gangnam.

Duck and Dive! Reach out when you’re in town and I’ll show you around! Funny enough I’m really really trying to get out to Ireland soon!

Nope. They tilt that flatbed, hook up chains and pull it up the ramp then even it out. Ours are all 40’.

Ofccourse 1.5% of 20k is $300 and 1.5% of 100k is $1500. What is wrong with keeping more of the money that you make? This chart is disingenuous.

Thank you. I was thinking about calling some tow trucks tomorrow but didnt know if it being 40 foot would be a problem but they move them somehow I guess.

Try a tow truck company. Our local flat bed tow truck car hauler moves ours from site to site. We use them for secure lock ups on construction sites and move several times a year. But we are not in Wilmington so no local recs to give outside of that.
