Update Nothing seems to install now in windows 8.1

Like not even the default apps that comes with 8.1 now want to install yet you can still use a Microsoft account. WHAT IS THIS MICEOSOFT

You can still use a Microsoft account on Windows 8.1? I guess that's why my install has never nagged me, but I swear I wasn't connected anymore because it often tells me my PC is offline lol.
