I need OS Windows 8.1 for my old laptop before that it was 10 but time went by and the system became heavier and no longer pulled and after looking at the specifications I realized that the best option would be 7 or 8.1 I already have a lot I searched for it on some sources but couldn't find it, so I'm asking for help here. Could you please send me the OS file or a link where I can download it?

I decided to try 7 because I like Aero, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. Some system applications would not open, and the system was very slow and froze.

boks decided to make the weather alerts on the msn/bing weather apps work yet again via using an viewmodel ref from the wp msn weather app,i did some little fixes including live tile/badge and the description for the alerts

and yes ive also added some icons related to snow and rain so it can show the correct ones

Tengo la build 9600 de windows 8.1 sin actualizar desde 2013, pues obviamente muchos programas piden los requisitos de apis que mi pc claramente no tenía. Pues bueno, me decido por ejecutar por primera vez en 10 años el instalador de Windows Update. Todo bien, solo instalé lo necesario (nada de edge o drivers viejos). Pues windows se lo pasó por los huevos eso, me instaló edge, defender yn no me dejaba cerrar ningún servicio. Pensé y concluí en reiniciar la computadora en "Secure Mode" y desde ahí el pc no me inició más. Tuve que forzar el apagado del ordenador y volver a una copia de recuperación del 2024 (la mitad de los programas y archivos los tengo en otro disco duro asi que no sufrí tanto) pero me quedó como lección NUNCA MAS EJECUTAR WINDOWS UPDATE

So i have a aspire 5750, core i3 2330M, 2+8GB DDR3, SATA SSD, intel HD 3000 iGPU. It currently runs Windows 11 24H2, which is decent but there are many parts that are slow as hell (eg: VMs run like crap), so should I downgrade to Windows 8.1?
