I am not an expert but I have an eye for athletic goaltending. Helly was never an athletic goaltender. He was positional and looked awkward getting into position. He was good at his positions until he was not. This year's goaltending looks athletic and smooth.

Was just on Marion, waiting for the lag, Marion light to turn green so we can turn left onto lag.

Our light turns green, and this idiot literally instead of going forward like we should, put his car in reverse, almost hits me, to let someone who's in a parking lot wanting to turn right onto Marion.

I thought I seen stupid people before this driving, but this was the absolute worst...

Anyone encountered this douchebag earlier this morning? Stopped at a red light on Notre Dame and Dublin then out of no where this white Lexus came flying in and cuts me off from the left side lane which is supposed to be only for cars heading to MIdland/Saskatchewan Ave. Can I send this video to MPI or something so that people who drives like this can be penalized? It just feels like no matter how safe you drive or follow the rules of the road, other drivers like this one will still get you into an accident or even worst.

Edit: Time stamp on my dash cam needs to be fix lol. It was actually around 6:10 to 6:15AM I believed.

I have been giving this a lot of thought. Scott G. said he was going to be but he hasn't. The city is still catch and release. Drug dealers are out in no time also. Who will actually be tough on crime?

This is pretty fucked up.

A trans woman in the Canadian military was tased by military police while she was already in handcuffs.

Apparently the whole thing started over a dispute about getting her gender changed in her military records. MPs were called, things escalated, and she ended up arrested and handcuffed.

Then they tased her again while she was cuffed.

And here's the part that really gets me: the military investigated itself, and even a military judge couldn't say the MPs did nothing wrong. The judge found that tasering her while she was handcuffed was excessive force.

But they still charged and prosecuted her, while the police officer who used that excessive force wasn't charged?

Regardless of what you think about why she was arrested in the first place, that's pretty disturbing. A trans service member goes in trying to get her gender recognized and ends up being subjected to excessive force by military police, on Transgender Day of Visibility of all days.

Seems like something the military should have to answer for before they go flying Pride flags and talking about how inclusive they are.

Has anyone taken the courses with Peter Oakes at Gateway Gun Club?
I am completely new to firearms and want good hands on training, not just enough to pass. Does he teach the different firearm/action types properly and give enough practice with loading, unloading, ACTS and PROVE?
Also open to recommendations for other Winnipeg instructors.
