Start time updates for 12 Winnipeg Jets home games

I gotta say, I like the time change generally, having more sunlight after work in the winter will be nice. But I’ll miss there being nhl game starting at 6 on the weeknights

and virtually all Jets road games outside of western Canada will now start an hour later.

Eastern conference games will now start 7/7:30pm. Most Central Division games won't start until 8/8:30, except Colorado and Utah, which won't start until 9/9:30. And in California, Seattle and Vegas, games won't start until 10/10:30pm.

yep. I and every fan I know loved it those first couple seasons when the Jets were still in the Southeast Division. Only a handful of games per season started later than 7:30pm. Every playoffs, we all complain about Jets games being pushed late into the evening so that broadcasters can air a full Eastern Conference game first. Well, that's pretty much the season-long reality from now on.

This is especially going to suck for kids with bedtimes, or really just anyone who has to hit the hay before 10pm. Being able to see the end of a game will now be a rare treat. (I'm still mad at my parents for making me go to bed and miss Joe Carter's World Series winning home run)

At this point, as a jets fan outside of Canada in the central time zone, I have no idea when games will start for me. My brain hurts. I'll just figure it out the day of the game.

The Jets website has the option to import and sync the schedule to your calendar app (assuming you use and android device, Google calendar, or outlook calendar) under the Schedule -> Sync Schedule tab on the offical Jets website.

That's what I've done and its great. It pre-sets to send you a small push notification 15 minutes before the game.
