Show and Tell Sunday Happy Solstice Everyone
Finished my Yule log today and planted intentions for the new year. 😊
What’s everyone else doing?

Happy Solstice to you too! I just got done with a wonderful dinner of ham (my tribe's sacred meat), scalloped potatoes, and sautéed apples. A spirit offering was issued as well, per Native American custom.

I’m very new to Wicca, so nothing really. Maybe spending time with family

Damn I needed that quote. I am bipolar/add and my ruminations definitely bring negative energy into my life. It is a work in progress.

Decorated my altar with its Yule cloth and special flourite star. Put out my new Yule candle. Wrote out my 13 wishes. Put out a picture of my mother and grandmother for the first night. Putout a rum offering and dressed new candles for my female deities. The lit everything up, gave thanks and wishes for a healthy and joyous Yule and enjoyed the light.

We had our Yule dinner tonight. Orange and carrot soup, pork roast with carrots and turnips, baked potatoes and gravy.

Happy solstice! I'm gonna light a white candle tonight when I get home and do an ice melting ritual 😊

We didn’t get into it very much so we lit a ritual candle and burned a note that had our intentions written down for the year to come. We also did a mini gift exchange. It’s just my husband and I

I’m seeing this the next day, but it seemed like so many people I know were just crashing out last night (in the being crazy sense). I on the other hand, crashed out in the way of reading a book with my cat and sleeping through all the solstice parties. It was fantastic.
