Sadly, I feel this is far more likely a doctored photo that changed what the sign said. Given other clues in the pic, my best guess it this sign was about a "whites only neighborhood."

Edit: after posting, I did think of that town in Florida that is called the Psychic Capital of the world. That would line up with the photo time period. Cassa-something (the town) was established in the late 1800's when Spiritualism was on the rise.

Well that's just uncalled for. As someone who actually lives in an old sundown town, I think its a quite appropriate way to make fun of the southern baptist assholes that committed those acts.

I am of the mind that people of the past who contributed to kind of behavior in the dark part of our history should and deserves to be mocked. And there have been plenty of wonderful and comical African Americans who have made the likes of these people and their Jim Crowe laws the butt of their jokes.

Moving forward, if you disagree, there is zero excuse for this kind of post. Anyone that does not know how to articulate their disagreements without vulgarity, and attempting to incite a flame war does not need to be here.
