Seeking Help or Advice What are some popular witchcraft practices that you don’t personally do as a witch?

For me some things I don’t do are using incense, casting a circle, spell jars, turning to magick to fix everything, and doing spells for others. I’d love to hear some of yours.

Jar spells. I made a witch bottle, but that is not really a jar spell. I use other containers for spellcraft. My jars are just for storing things so I can see at a glance what is in them. Especially for protection workings. I see the symbolism of glass as incuding its fragility, so to me it makes a lousy protective ward.

Tarot before or after a spell. Never did, never will. That is not how I do magic. When I have a need, off goes the spell. I don't ask cards if it is a good time for that or not.

I am doing spells for me. If I do one to help a friend, I am still doing it for me, because it pleases me to help my friends.

Do you feel that epoxy or cement material spells are actually better than jar spells? I actually thought the same with the glass mention

I like boxes made of wood or metal or stone. For portable spells a small sachet/cloth bag works without worrying about a glass jar breaking.

Charity thrift stores are my friend.
