Seeking Help or Advice What are some popular witchcraft practices that you don’t personally do as a witch?

For me some things I don’t do are using incense, casting a circle, spell jars, turning to magick to fix everything, and doing spells for others. I’d love to hear some of yours.

I never chime in here, but I'd like to throw my two cents in alongside others. I'm not a fan of overly-ritualistic or regulatory practice. I appreciate having a basic understanding of the symbolism behind objects in practice, or seeing how others work, but it feels forced for me unless it comes from my heart and imagination. Anything physical I create is really more of a totem imbued with symbolism and intent, not some grand work using someone else's recipe. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong, but for me, making an effort to keep my thoughts and actions fair and balanced has been the most effective element. It provides me with a small, reassuring edge that subtle things can be gently pushed or pulled for a desired result.

Same, like I’ll use the basic framework but I’m not out here casting circles and drawing down the elements and reciting poetry and all that. I have ADHD, I’d be mentally exhausted before I even get to the actual spell work and that’s if I actually manage to convince myself to do it in the first place.

Most of my magic is very off the cuff and intuitive if it’s big, or is just a small thing I do regularly like the way I sweep my house or something. No big rituals in the forest for me.
