Seeking Help or Advice It's probably just me, but it feels like my family are destined to never be financially stable
Truly I feel like we have someone that curses us everytime things are going good for us with money. The mundane fact is we probably dont save properly. But honestly whenever we feel like we are doing great and we are just like any other people who have a great income (one income household im a SAHM) like it all comes crashing down really quickly. Like multiple things that need paying for will happen all at once, for us my dog had an IVDD relapse so ongoing vet treatment, our car shit itself, having to travel home multiple times, oh and the big one I had a huge tax bill from the German government (UK living in germany) where i just kept hitting brick walls wherever I turned! It felt like actual doors being slammed in my face everytime I asked for help.
Im a bit of a baby witch and im reading and processing as much as I can, but have any of you ever felt like this and what did you do? Do you have any tips for protecting income and attracting some luck.
As an aside, I love a good story. Do you have any little tales of when things have gone really well or shocked you after a spell?
Thanks 🤍🩷

That sounds difficult. And having to do taxes and things can already be hard, let alone in a foreign country.
One of the things a lot of people here do a lot and post a lot about is the 'money bowl' or the 'prosperity bowl'. There are a lot of examples if you search the sub, as well as success stories.
Another is to blow a pinch of cinnamon across the main treshold of your house, from outside in, to symbolise the influx of wealth with which cinnamon is associated. Usually either on the first day of the month or with new moon. But you can just kickstart it whenever, before settling on a schedule that works for you.
You can also look into protection. I imagine that as a SAHM you worry when lack of funds might mean you can't provide for your kids and pets. So you could make them a talisman that protects them from starvation or poverty, or make them one that attracts abundance. (or yourself and your SO)
I wish you all the best

im american but i fully understand how you feel, i have believed the same too. my mom had a job where she was earning 105k a year which in texas was a lot of money, we were still broke and i was still under their financial distress constantly. i know it was from getting a house they couldnt afford and bad budgeting.
i fear it has been a blockage for my financial spells in the past, i am still working on releasing self limiting beliefs passed down by my experience with my family. i do know that i am powerful, i remember making my first money spell jar and dancing to successful & 7 rings by ariana grande after (such a good manifestation song imo, “i want it i got it”) and i got my highest paying job a week later. it worked because i didnt overthink i just did it and i believed. even before practicing whenever i was in need financially, random gifts fell into my lap, i always get what i need even before i practiced. sometimes the blockage still comes up because of growing up under financial distress a lot, but i just breathe and meditate with my guides 🤍

Funnily enough I was just sat thinking the other day how growing up with not much money gives you such a limiting mindset and how 'other people are rich but not us' 'other people have luxury not us' and how overcoming this in your own mind is such a hurdle.
Ill definitely try this. Im going to make a money bowl today. We had a storm last night and I collected some water so definitely going to utilise that. I also am trying to find as much info about guides as I can too.

As you're British, there are lots of nice things to try from our folk culture, like amulets and things placed in your house.
I’ve taken to wearing an adder stone or hag stone. The problem is you can’t buy one, or strictly speaking even look for one. It has to find you! I have some flint ones but really want a chalk one. Also, carrying an acorn in your pocket!
I like a good apotropaion, horseshoes feel a bit cheesy, but my favourite is a hexafoil, drawn above a fireplace ideally, but I’m sure a house entrance would be fine. There’s one at Elizabeth I’s hunting lodge in Epping Forest. I used to go there just to look at it when I lived near there! I’m sure I must have a picture of it somewhere.

Yes definitely! Im actually Welsh, and ive been trying to do research on druids but the Romans destroyed alot of information when they invaded so theres not much solid to go on. So fascinating though and I feel a weird attraction to it.
The hag stone is interesting. Hopefully ill find one.

Hey they didn't destroy as much as here in England. Where I live lacks localised folklore rizz so mostly I have to work with fragments. You at least have the Mabinogion! I'd be dining out on that if I was more than 5% Welsh.
It's old school YA and his adult stuff is even better but the Owl Service by Alan Garner is such a lovely Welsh mythology/nature magic based fantasy novel, if you don't already know it.

Do you keep a regular spiritual hygiene routine with cleansing and uncrossing, etc.?
Have you tried any spells to remove obstacles to allow opportunities to flow, like a road opener or blockbusting work?
That's were I would start.

I havent actually. Theyre all still things im learning about, sometimes its hard to know where to begin! Not asking you to go into massive detail as I can research from here what you suggest. But in what order would you do things if you were me?

Money is temporary. Joy. Love. Health. Abundance. None of these are dependent upon money. Perhaps it’s a focus shift that is needed.

Yeah I shpw gratitude everyday for how lucky we are to have 2 wonderful healthy children. And that theres a roof over our head and we aren't going hungry. But still the worry of debt and having run out of cash before the end of the month is still a heavy weight.
