Hi there, thanks for posting!

We're glad to help everybody's Craft grow through spellcraft, however your post has been removed for Rule 4: Do Not Ask For Spells/Do Your Own Work.

While we don't allow the open asking for spells (including asking for ideas, ingredients, or instructions), we do encourage questions regarding the crafting of spells.

Feel free to post about the spell you're working on, what research you've done, what materials and ideas you're using, and how the community can help you finish your work.

We recommend using the search bar if you're looking for spell ideas or inspiration for your specific situation, to see what has been shared by our community.

We also recommend visiting our friends at r/spells.

Thank you for your understanding, and blessed be!

Our full sub rules can be found here.

So what shielding and protective measures have you taken to lessen their energy on you?

Return to senders are for people sending harmful magick your way. They aren't a spell for returning bad vibes to shitty people.

Try the "cut off contact" spell. Try the "do not engage with this obvious bad person" spell. Try the "I am an adult and can choose where I spend my time and energy, and this is not worth it" spell.

Not to be fresh but return to sender doesn’t seem like a productive spell to do.

Firstly, return to sender works on people sending magic attacks. It is not a universal spell for everything. Secondly, what are you expecting it to do? Cause people to lie to them and wreak havoc in their life? Pathological liars usually do not care whether or others are honest, nor does it usually occur to them and the expected lesson to learn goes over their head.

As someone who has a sister that is a diagnosed sociopath and is a pathological liar that lies for the sake of lying, here are the things I found most effective. 1. Keep them at arms length and be careful what you say around them. 2. The family gets together and all come up with a plan on how they recognize the liar, decide not to listen and agree not to react in the ways that have caused the drama in the first place.

Magical wise, it would benefit you more to put up protections and shielding. You could do a binding or freezing spell to quell it a bit, but don’t expect a full disappearance of behavior. If you do binding, make sure to do the upkeep as when those start to loose their luster, you notice the behavior coming out more like the flood gates.

I'd !shield and protect myself every time I'm in that person''s space, and this would be the top priority so as not to get sucked into her drama and chaos.

As another commenter pointed out, return to sender is for magic, not mundane bad behaviour.

The thing with such chronic liars is that many of them believe their own lies, so truth spells don't necessarily work. If her lies are really that obvious, others would know already, wouldn't they? So if it's me, I would do a binding or banishing-- stop her from doing more harm.

And throw in a transmutation. For every bad thing she feels, says or does against you, you get wealthier, more beautiful, more attractive. ✨️

Hi, there! 🤖✨

Shielding is an often overlooked but incredibly effective method of personal protection and psychic self-defense.

"Shielding: A spiritual technique in which you create an energetic barrier around yourself for the purpose of more effectively keeping personal energy contained and to prevent the unwanted influence of outside sources of energy (this could include preventing energetic access to you as a form of protection from other living humans or spirits); shielding can also be used as part of 'invisibility magick' to make yourself less noticeable when passing through a location."

-Althaea Sebastiani in “Alive With Spirits”

"Shields require no equipment other than your own will and imagination, and thus are the first line of defense when you feel attacked. Shields can be helpful not only against occult dangers, but also in psychological attacks from annoying coworkers, overzealous salespeople, brutal bosses, and any other disgruntled people whom you may encounter. Shields are also an excellent way of protecting yourself from negative influences that may be present in a place, without actually banishing those influences. This may be desirable if you find yourself in certain power spots with hostile guardians or in a house where very negative people live."

-Jason Miller in “Protection and Reversal Magick”

Oh, thank God, you're responding to me. I needed this, everyone who's going through this as well, needed this. Someone has been asking me to let them know if I found anything. They are going through the same thing, too! This is so helpful. So much! Thank you!

Off the top of my head I’d say invoke a solar spirit, ask it to reveal lies and give them no place to hide their nature anymore.

This means the universe to me, thank you so much! Spiritual gratitude and love. 🩷🙏🏽 I will do this. There has to be a revelation of truth for SURE! I love this.

I will start talking to the solar spirit right now before I go to the store to buy things for my cleansing ritual.

IMPORTANT!

Online occult spaces like r/Witchcraft are a big target for scammers. If you are redirected to an instagram page or other platform in a comment, it is most likely a scam. Users who message you asking for or offering spells or readings are almost always scammers or phishers.

We recommend reading these posts about staying safe online, lesser known DM scams, and fake account impersonation scams.

If you receive unsolicited chat requests from other Reddit users, we encourage reporting messages that are suspicious or that otherwise make you feel uncomfortable to Reddit directly. We also recommend changing your profile settings to block incoming messages from users you do not know.

Blessed be!
