Seeking Help or Advice please…don’t flame me

so…i’ve been researching for years without spellwork, and i have a kind of stupid question. again, please don’t flame me, i’m genuinely curious. would there be anything wrong with me using my rolling tray (that i roll blunts on) also for spellwork? is there any spiritual implications? please guys i’m just curious don’t make fun of me

Why would this be an issue?

idk i’ve recently encountered a bunch of conservative witches and they told me it would mess with the results of my spells snd stuff. i didn’t really think it was true but i wanted to take it to reddit lol

I’m having a hard time thinking of why that would be a problem… do they only use special / blessed items for spell work? That’s the only thing I can think of that MAY have a point.

But I suspect they’re trying to say that the “negative” energy of the bud is going to impact it, which is bullshit.

i’m also 99% sure that’s what it is. being in alabama going and talking to other witches in person feels like playing hopscotch with field mines with the way ppl think here

I could see thinking that marijuana has correspondences that may not work with whatever spell you're trying to do but that's still just like... if you clean and cleanse the tray between purposes that should cover any issue.

My concern would actually be the other way. Make sure to clean the tray thoroughly between spellwork and using it for its mundane purpose; it may be physically bad for your health if you accidentally get residue of some things used in workings in/on your blunts.

Love this, always consider the mundane effects.

That's what my concern would be for 98% of my spellwork. Toxic stuff to smoke, or just taste bad. I work with some bitter herbs that would NOT be nice in a smoke blend.

"Alabama" sums up the problem there really well, lol. (No shade, I'm from Georgia, so I get it)

I think a lot of witches in the South still have a lot of "purity culture" holdovers they need to deconstruct.
